Places to visit
- Mausoleum of Mohamed 5: which is located in the opposite side of the popular Hassan Tower , it contains the tombs of the previous Moroccan kings , late Hassan 2 and prince Abdallah ; Hassan tower is minaret of an incomplete mosque ; this two historical monuments are placed on the high south bank of BOUREGREG river which provide a magnificent view from miles away of the opposite city Salé . it is open daily from 09h00 to 18h00 .
- Chellah : it’s a historical medieval fortified Muslim necropolis located near the king palace in Rabat , surrounded by a green view of plants and trees ; inside this monument, you find roman walls and buildings surrounded with flowers and plants . it is open daily from 08h30 to 18h30 .
- Kasbah d’ Oudayas : located at the mouth of the BOUREGREG river opposite sale , it is like a small city with an Andalusian gardens and a residential neighborhood with blue and white walls , you find also a traditional coffee spot where you can enjoy the magnificent view of the BOUREGREG river with a cup of the traditional Moroccan tea and the Moroccan cookies and in the other side of the Kasbah , you get to enjoy the view of the Atlantic ocean high and open .
- The Old Medina : located in the center of Rabat near the Mohamed avenue , where you can get and buy artisanal and traditional souvenirs .
